Drake Becomes First Artist to Pass 350M RIAA-Certified Units

Drake has added another record to his résumé. According to The Source, the Toronto star is the first artist in music history to surpass 350 million RIAA-certified units in the United States.

The milestone was announced one day before his October 24 birthday, as he heads into his 40th year. The Source reports it further establishes him as the most certified artist in RIAA history.

The news follows a wave of new certifications across his catalog. His 2016 album Views is now officially Diamond after reaching 10 million equivalent units in the U.S., joining his 2011 album Take Care in the Diamond category. According to The Source, Views produced "One Dance," "Controlla" and "Hotline Bling."

Two singles also reached Diamond after passing 10 million units each: "Marvins Room," originally released in 2011, and "In My Feelings," from his 2018 album Scorpion. With those additions, The Source reports Drake now holds 18 Diamond-certified singles across lead and featured appearances, extending his record for the most by any artist.

The outlet notes that RIAA certifications account for eligible sales and streaming activity, and that his ICEMAN project has continued to generate streaming activity and chart success throughout 2026.
